Rella's Spielhaus German Summer Camp

Rella's Spielhaus German Summer Camp offers nine weeks of German language instruction from June 22 through August 28, 2026, at their Manhattan location on the Upper West Side. Each week features a different theme—such as medieval knights, anatomy, firefighters, and Mozart—designed to immerse children in German while keeping them engaged through music, movement, storytelling, and hands-on activities. The daily schedule includes circle time with German basics (alphabet, numbers, colors, vocabulary, songs), arts and crafts projects, snacks, outdoor play at nearby Central Park, lunch, and quiet time or continued learning for older children. One field trip per week takes campers to locations like the Met Museum's Arms and Armor exhibit or the NYC Fire Zone. The program is designed for mixed-age groups and multiple proficiency levels. Full-day camp runs 9:00am–3:00pm Monday through Friday, with optional early drop-off from 8:30–9:00am and aftercare until 5:00pm.
