A tuition-free two-week summer enrichment program for rising 8th grade Catholic boys, offering intensive hands-on courses in engineering and debate, plus daily HSPT exam preparation and spiritual formation.
The Regis Summer Institute runs from July 6 through July 16, 2027, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. at Regis High School in Manhattan. Students choose between intensive engineering or debate courses, each project-based with hands-on work alongside peers and instructors. In addition to course work, students receive daily instruction preparing for the HSPT exam (the Regis Scholarship Test), participate in recreation periods, and attend time in the school chapel for spiritual formation. The program is open to Catholic boys in 7th grade whose families meet either zip code eligibility criteria in the New York City metropolitan area or household income requirements of $209,000 or less for a family of four.
