A summer program for young children ages 2-5 held at Park East Synagogue on the Upper East Side. The program combines educational experiences with summer activities including swimming, crafts, games, science, music, sports, and cooking, with special events throughout the session. Also runs: RASPEDS Taste of Shabbat Program.
The Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School Summer Program offers early childhood education paired with summer activities. Children ages 2-5 are challenged socially, emotionally and physically in a child-based program that encourages teamwork, self-esteem and confidence. Each group is led by a licensed teacher and experienced assistant. Daily activities include outdoor swimming in wading pools, sprinklers and playground activities, crafts, games, science, music, water play, movement, art, cooking, sports instruction and Oneg Shabbat on Fridays. The program also offers special events throughout the summer.
