Day camps on the Upper West Side where young actors rehearse and perform in theater productions, working with professional NYC teaching artists. Sessions run during summer, holiday breaks, and weekends, with options for creative drama and musical theater.
Play On! Studios offers theater day camps for grades PreK-9 in Manhattan. Summer camps include Creative Drama Camps (grades K-4) where campers receive scripts, rehearse productions, make sets and costumes, and perform for family and friends each week. Musical Theater Performance (grades 4-9) runs as a full production in a professional NYC theater with vocal coaching and field trips. Musical Theater Revue uses Broadway themes to explore solos, monologues, and musical numbers. Holiday camps and one-day camps themed around Broadway, Disney, and movie musicals are also offered. All sessions emphasize drama games, skill-building in a non-competitive environment, and performance. Extended care before and after camp includes movie making, script writing, arts and crafts.
