A full-day summer photography camp in New York City for teenagers aged 13-18 where students learn camera control, composition, and creative techniques while exploring the city on field trips. Also runs: Photography Summer Camp for Kids.
PhotoUno's summer camp for teens combines classroom instruction at their Midtown location with outdoor photography sessions around New York City. Students learn to control cameras in semi-automatic and manual modes, understanding aperture for background blur, shutter speed for motion and night photography, ISO, exposure, and focus control. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM, with the first part of each day at the studio and afternoons spent photographing locations around the city. Students need a DSLR, mirrorless, or compact camera with manual mode. The program is designed to be fun and recreational while building practical photography skills.
