Prince George's County Parks and Recreation operates summer day camps throughout the county for children ages six and up, running one- and two-week sessions from June through August with activities ranging from culinary arts and gymnastics to robotics and sports.
M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation runs a diverse portfolio of summer day camps across Prince George's County. Camps operate June 15–August 21, 2026, in one- or two-week sessions from 9 am to 4:30 pm, with optional before-care (7–9 am) and after-care (4:30–6 pm). Children choose from multiple activity themes including chef, gymnast, robotics engineer, and Olympian-style training. Most camps are open to residents of all jurisdictions, though therapeutic recreation camps serve Prince George's County residents only. Campers bring their own lunch; closed-toe shoes are required. Fee assistance and payment plans are available.
