Weekly summer art camps in Katonah for children entering first through sixth grade. Campers spend four days exploring painting, sculpture, printmaking, and collage while following themed woodland adventures, with a focus on developing artistic skills and confidence through fine art techniques.
Petite Art Studio runs week-long summer camps Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, for incoming first through sixth graders. Each day focuses on a different art medium—painting on Mondays, sculpture on Tuesdays, printmaking on Wednesdays, and collage on Thursdays—with daily drawing woven throughout. Campers work with high-quality materials, take inspiration from nature, books, and art history, and practice caring for tools and collaborating like studio artists. Weekly themes follow woodland art friends on adventures like Secret Garden Week, Island Expedition Week, and Starry Night Campout Week. Each Thursday ends with a Mini Art Show where families celebrate the week's artwork. Children take home a collection of their creations along with a deeper understanding of art materials and techniques.
