Summer musical theatre and dance camps held outdoors in an amphitheatre setting, offering week-long programmes for ages 3-16 with no double casting, full rehearsal participation, and experienced directors. Offerings include Frozen, Cinderella, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Storytime Ballet, and Acting Improvisation.
Performing Arts 5678 runs summer programmes in an outdoor amphitheatre with an indoor studio for rehearsals during weather. Each camper receives a full role with 100% rehearsal and performance time rather than observing alternates. Programmes are led by seasoned professional directors, choreographers, and musical directors. Tuition is all-inclusive with no ticket, video, photo, or costume fees. Offerings range from Storytime Ballet for ages 3.5-6 in May and June, to week-long musical theatre intensives in August for ages 4-16, and a two-week musical theatre production in July for ages 9-16. All programmes culminate in performances.
