A week-long instrumental music camp for grades 8–12 held on the University of Pennsylvania campus, featuring jazz and wind band repertoire, guest clinicians, and public performances across Philadelphia landmarks. Both residential and commuter options available.

The Penn Band High School Summer Music Camp is a student-centered program in its 23rd year, held annually on the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia. Campers participate in a broad musical repertoire ranging from jazz to contemporary popular music, culminating in three public performances at venues including the Penn Museum, Historic Franklin Field, the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral, and other prominent Philadelphia locations. The program welcomes musicians of all ability levels with no auditions required. Campers benefit from instruction by guest musicians and clinicians, including performers from the Philadelphia Pops. The camp includes residential accommodations in campus dormitories with dining facilities, and residential campers have opportunities to tour Philadelphia and its historic landmarks. The program is committed to accessibility, offering need-based scholarships and partnerships with local organizations.
