Packer Summer Camp has operated as a beloved part of the Brooklyn Heights summer scene for over 50 years. The camp welcomes students from across New York City and beyond each June and July. Campers are organized into close-knit bunks of 10-12 students with two counselors who participate in activities, meals, and competitions together. The program includes a Junior Campers program for PreK-1st grade, an Elective Program with specialty tracks for 2nd-7th graders, and a Counselors-in-Training program for 8th and 9th graders. After-camp care is available for an additional daily fee. The camp operates on a typical day structure with arrival, bunk activities, and meals in the mess hall. All campers must be up to date on required vaccines, and the campus maintains strict allergy policies prohibiting tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame.
