Old Westbury Gardens offers themed day camps across 200 acres of formal gardens and woodlands, with rotating sessions in July and August featuring history exploration, STEM investigation, and nature-inspired art for children ages 5-9.
Old Westbury Gardens runs four distinct summer camp sessions in 2026. Time Traveling Explorers (July 20-24) brings history to life through hands-on experiences in Ancient Egypt, Greece, the Middle Ages, the Wild West, and the Phipps Family era. Inventive Explorers (July 27-31) is a STEM camp where young scientists conduct experiments and explore nature. Artful Explorers runs twice (August 3-7 and August 10-14) with drawing, painting, printmaking, clay, and nature-inspired games. All sessions run 9am-12pm with small class sizes and a 1:5 counselor-to-camper ratio. Members receive a 20% discount on the $350 per child weekly fee.
