A two-day summer program in July where children ages 9-13 learn colonial history through hands-on instruction in tinsmithing, blacksmithing, weaving, food preservation and other period crafts at a National Historical Place.
The Summer History Program runs for two days each July from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., serving students ages 9 to 13. Participants gain hands-on experience learning about colonial life through instruction in traditional crafts including tinsmithing, blacksmithing, weaving, and food preservation techniques.
