A ballet-focused summer camp in Norwalk offering intensive day programs, evening classes, and workshops for dancers ages 4 and up. Sessions run throughout June, July, and August with instruction in ballet technique, jazz, contemporary, and related disciplines.
Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet runs a comprehensive summer program with multiple track options. The Summer Intensive Program offers full-day sessions (10 AM–3:30 PM) for advanced beginning through advanced dancers ages 9 and up, featuring ballet technique, jazz, contemporary, conditioning, and variations. Evening Intensive classes run Monday–Thursday for ages 7 and up, divided by level. The Advance Beginning Workshops provide half-day instruction (2 hours 45 minutes) for ages 8–13 focusing on technically appropriate ballet training. The Young Dancer Enrichment program serves primary level dancers ages 4–7 with daily technique classes exploring specific ballets each week through choreography and crafts. All programs are taught by ABT-certified faculty and visiting master teachers.
