The YMCA of the North Shore runs the largest provider of quality day camps on the North Shore, with locations in Beverly, Essex, Gloucester, and East Kingston, NH. Beverly offers specialty camps in sports, gymnastics, and STEAM with weekly themed activities and dedicated swim time. Camp Sterling Woods in Beverly spans 35 acres with a high ropes course, zip line, pond, archery range, and outdoor stage. Camp Tricklin Falls in East Kingston features an archery range, 55-foot climbing tower, challenge course, low ropes course, canoeing, and nature stations. Camp Dory in Essex sits on Chebacco Lake with swimming, boating, fishing, and low ropes course activities. Camp Spindrift in Gloucester offers swimming, sports, hiking, challenge course, and kayaking on the Annisquam River. Specialty camps in Gloucester include sports, cheer, and theater options. The organization is Praesidium Accredited for child safety and offers flexible pricing including income-based rates for families.
