North Shore Holiday House Summer Camp

North Shore Holiday House runs an overnight summer camp in Huntington serving up to 55 campers per session. Campers ages 7-11 choose from three two-week sessions (June 28 - August 6), while ages 12-15 have two five-day sessions in August. The camp focuses on building self-confidence, independence and teamwork through diverse programming including arts and crafts, dance, drama, music, nature study, STEM activities, sports, swimming and Girl Power. Daily swim time is available with water safety instruction and lifeguard supervision. Evening programs bring all campers together for special events like Carnival Day. Counselors from various countries share their cultures through music, dance and traditions. The camp is free to families meeting USDA free/reduced lunch income requirements and living in Nassau or Suffolk County.
