One-week daytime summer workshops where children ages 7-17 learn glassworking techniques including fused glass, glassblowing, stained glass, and flameworking. Students create jewelry, bowls, sculptures and other pieces to take home, with instruction from experienced teachers in small groups.
North Shore Glass School offers structured summer workshops across two age groups: Juniors (ages 7-10) and Kids (ages 10-17). Each week runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with sessions available from June 15 through August 24, 2026. Students work with multiple glass mediums and techniques, creating projects like pendants, bowls, cups, and sculptures. Classes are intentionally kept small—8 students maximum for Juniors and 12 for Kids—to ensure hands-on guidance from experienced instructors. No prior experience is needed, and students take home most of their pieces throughout the week. Safety is prioritized with supervised instruction, required safety glasses, and first aid training.
