An intensive five-day fencing camp in Great Neck for ages 6 and up, with three week-long sessions in July combining competitive bouts, footwork drills, tactical training, and psychological coaching led by experienced coaches.
North Shore Fencers Club runs summer fencing camps designed to provide an intensive, comprehensive fencing experience. Each five-day session runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, combining daily competitive electrical bouts, psychological training, conditioning, and tactical discussions. Sessions begin with warm-ups and physical training, move into footwork and fencing drills, and conclude with tournament bouts. A 45-minute lunch break is provided at noon. The program develops coordination, concentration, self-esteem, and etiquette while challenging students both physically and mentally. Non-electrical equipment is available for beginners, while experienced fencers must bring their own full uniform and electrical equipment.
