A preschool summer camp running one-week themed sessions from mid-June through July, with activities focused on nature exploration, art, outdoor play, and creative projects in the school's gardens and outdoor spaces.
New Canaan Community Preschool offers weekly summer camp sessions led by preschool teachers. Each week features a different theme: Nature Navigators explores the garden and Nature Path; The Art of Printmaking teaches mono-printing techniques; Life on the Shoreline includes beach-themed water play and sand activities; and It's Not a Box encourages creative construction with cardboard. Sessions run Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with four-day and five-day options available. The camp takes place on the school's 12-acre grounds, which includes two playgrounds, a garden, and a Nature Path. Children eligible to attend must be age three by June 1st and be potty-trained.
