See if kids you know are going to this camp.
The Chicago Academy of Sciences runs day off and winter camps for children ages 4–12 that combine indoor and outdoor nature exploration with science activities, art projects, animal encounters, and interactive learning throughout the museum and its grounds.
Nature Museum Day Off and Winter Camps immerse children into the world of nature and science through interactive exploration. Campers develop critical thinking and social skills by spending fun-filled days inside and outside the museum participating in science and art projects, nature play, animal encounters, and more. The museum encourages campers to explore the nature of Chicago at their own pace using tools selected or built by them. Sessions run from 9am to 3pm, with offerings including Tree Tenders, Weather Wizards, Winter Camp, and Snake Surveyors sessions throughout the school year.
