A fashion design and sewing camp in Port Washington where children learn to sketch, design, and sew their own clothing, including hand embroidery, tie-dye techniques, and upcycling projects. Sessions run during summer, holiday breaks, and after school for ages 6-17.
My Style Camp teaches fashion design and sewing skills through creative projects where children design and create their own wearable pieces. The curriculum covers sketching and fashion illustration, pattern making, hand and machine sewing, hand embroidery, Shibori tie-dye techniques, and upcycling. Past camps have included themes like PJ Style, Sensational Stretch sewing, and Art Meets Fashion collaborations. The small-class approach builds confidence and fine motor skills while fostering self-expression and style discovery. Both virtual and in-person sessions are available.
