Three-day intensive workshops in string music (violin, viola, cello) for children ages 7 and up with at least one year of playing experience. Workshops cover improvisation, Arabic music, and protest songs, with group rehearsals, games, snacks, and a final performance in Adams Park.
musiConnects offers three separate intensive workshops during summer 2026 at their Roslindale studio. Improvisation Intensive runs June 29-July 1, Arabic Music Intensive runs July 7-9, and Protest Songs Intensive runs August 21-23. Each workshop meets from 9am to 12pm for three days, led by professional musicians who are part of musiConnects' teaching staff. Participants engage in group rehearsals, games, snacks, and conclude with a public performance. The program uses a sliding-scale tuition model where families pay what they can afford, with the expectation that many will pay no tuition at all.
