A one-week summer music camp for incoming 5th and 6th graders who are new to instruments, switching instruments, or learning a new one. Students learn the basics on flute, clarinet, trumpet, alto saxophone, trombone, or percussion, with instrument rental available through Music & Arts.
Music Rocks is a summer camp designed for students entering 5th or 6th grade who want to learn a band instrument. The camp focuses on fundamentals and getting each student prepared for success with their chosen instrument before the school year begins. Participants can choose from six standard band instruments: flute, clarinet, trumpet, alto saxophone, trombone, and percussion. Students must provide their own instrument or arrange a rental through Music & Arts, which offers rental opportunities on the first day of camp.
