A trilingual summer science camp for preschool-aged children in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood, featuring weekly themes in human body science, earth and space, and animal habitats, with gardening and water play activities throughout the summer.
Montessori Gifted Prep's Chicago Summer Science Program runs from July 6 through August 14, 2026, with themed sessions designed around Montessori principles. Session I explores human anatomy and health sciences through hands-on laboratory activities, including skeletal system construction and cardiovascular learning. Session II covers earth and space science with a field trip to the Field Museum. Session III and IV focus on animal and sea habitats, teaching children about different ecosystems and the needs of various animal species. Throughout the summer, children participate in gardening activities with herbs and sunflowers to take home, water play with sprinklers and wading pools, and songs and art projects. The trilingual curriculum incorporates Mandarin, Spanish, and English with native-speaking educators. Full-day care runs 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with extended care and half-day options available. Lunch is provided by Gourmet Gorilla.
