Montessori Day School of Brooklyn operates a summer camp from the week of July 6th through the week of August 10th, running 8am–4pm daily. The camp is open to all children including kindergarteners and non-MDS students, though enrollment requires full-week attendance. Weekly themes are outdoor-focused and include activities such as soccer, gardening, visits from the Nature Company, and frequent trips to parks for playground time and water activities. The program is staffed by experienced MDS teachers partnered with summer interns and specialists. Children enjoy daily rest time in air-conditioned classrooms.
