Momentum Dance Theatre Summer Intensives

Momentum Dance Theatre offers summer Dance Intensives combining professional instruction with community-based training. Dance Intensive 1 runs June 29–July 2 for ages 6–11, and Dance Intensive 2 runs July 20–24 for ages 8–14, both 9am–4pm. Each intensive uses a two-track model: Track 1 for beginners through beginner-level 2, and Track 2 for advanced beginner through intermediate dancers with at least two years of formal training. Days begin with warm-up for all participants, then split by skill level for technique classes, choreography, and coaching. Lunch and quiet time bring everyone together, with afternoon classes sometimes separated by level. The company, based on Capitol Hill, is a professional dance theater providing high-level, nurturing instruction in an intimate setting.
