A one-day 8–9 hour summer program for students grades 9 through college junior featuring three hours of lectures on medicine and surgery, followed by rotation through 18 hands-on experience stations. Also runs: Mini Medical School Experience for Middle School Students.
Offered on a Saturday and repeated the following Sunday, this non-competitive program accepts students on a first-come, first-served basis. The day includes three hours of lecture, a 30-minute lunch break, one additional hour of lecture, and then students rotate in small groups through 18 hands-on experience stations spending 10–12 minutes at each. Students conclude with a final talk on healthcare professions and receive a certificate of completion. The program fee is $300.
