Merit School of Arlington Summer Camp

Merit School of Arlington's summer camp program serves school-age children with a focus on outdoor activities and exploration. The camp runs from the conclusion of the school year through June, July, and August. Weekly swimming is a cornerstone activity, with young children participating in outdoor water play multiple times weekly and older children swimming in the facility's private pools. Children learn to swim with teachers in the water, and swim tests ensure appropriate water depth placement by ability. Gardening is integrated into the program, allowing children to start and maintain plants or flowers in garden plots on the grounds. The camp includes access to fully equipped, partially shaded playgrounds with climbing structures, swings, slides, tricycles, and sandbox play. School-age children also use sports courts and fields at local parks for basketball, soccer, and kickball.
