A paid summer program where Cambridge youth learn professional audio and video production, podcast creation, news storytelling, and media literacy skills while building a digital portfolio.
The Media Arts Studio Summer Program offers hands-on training in pro audio and video equipment, fake news detection, and podcast and news story production. Participants work Monday through Thursday from 10am to 3pm and Friday from 10am to 2pm, meeting at the Media Arts Studio on Broadway Street in Cambridge. The program runs from July 6 through August 7. Participants are paid for their work through the Cambridge Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program.
