A week-long summer dance intensive in Phoenix where dancers train in contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, theatre and swing with professional instructors, culminating in a final showcase performance.
Manhattan Dance Project Summer Intensive invites dancers from around the world to train for a week in multiple dance styles including contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, theatre and swing. Classes are taught by top professional dancers working in today's dance world. The program maintains a supportive, non-competitive environment where dancers receive instruction in choreography and technique, and all participants perform in a final night showcase highlighting what they learned throughout the week. The intensive aims to inspire young dancers and help them build friendships with other dancers.
