A week-long summer camp for ages 5-8 featuring weekly themes with music, theater, arts and crafts, instrument exploration, dance, yoga, and a Friday performance. Half-day and full-day options available at Roosevelt Community Center in Media.
Makin' Music Summer Camp immerses children ages 5-8 in themed musical and artistic worlds each week. The curriculum includes award-winning songs and chants, art projects, set design, theater, sign language, rock instrument exploration, scavenger hunts, stories, and yoga. Each day features music and theater classes, arts and crafts, games, and instrument exploration, culminating in a Friday show where campers perform what they've learned. Half-day camp runs 8:30 am to 12 pm, while full-day camp (Monday-Thursday) runs 8:30 am to 3 pm with additional afternoon activities including painting, science experiments, and cooking. The camp is peanut-free and requires campers to be self-sufficiently potty trained.
