A two-week summer riding camp for serious young equestrians ages 8-15 where campers care for a project horse, learn stable practices, grooming, riding, and horsemanship skills, with a student horse show at the end of each session.
Majoda Stables has offered a summer riding program for the past 20 years. The camp runs three two-week sessions during June, July, and August. Each session is limited to about fifteen students to ensure hands-on learning experiences. Children care for their own project horse during the session and learn stable practices, feeding, grooming, first aid, ground work, and daily riding. The curriculum also includes crafts, games, and swimming. Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a student horse show held on Friday morning at the end of each week. The program aims to develop well-rounded horsemanship skills.
