Prince George's County Parks and Recreation operates a variety of summer day camps from mid-June through August 2026, with sessions ranging from one to two weeks. Camps offer diverse themes including culinary arts, gymnastics, robotics, and general recreation, with before and after-care available at most locations.
M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation offers summer day camps across multiple Prince George's County sites serving children of various ages and interests. Camp sessions run June 15–August 21, 2026, with flexible one-week or two-week options. Standard camp hours are 9 am–4:30 pm, with optional before-care (7–9 am) and after-care (4:30–6 pm) available. Camps are closed June 19 (Juneteenth) and July 3 (Independence Day). Most camps serve residents of all jurisdictions, though therapeutic recreation camps are limited to Prince George's County residents. Campers must bring their own lunches and provide transportation; off-site field trips are included. Therapeutic recreation camps serve ages six to 21, and fee assistance and payment plans are available.
