The Long Island City YMCA offers a variety of summer camps for ages 3-14, including traditional camp with arts, sports and swimming, early childhood camp, Spanish language immersion, and specialty camps focused on art, swimming, and field trips. Sessions run in two-week blocks from late June through mid-August.
Long Island City YMCA operates multiple summer camp programs for different age groups and interests. Traditional Summer Camp serves ages 5-9 with activities including physical fitness, arts and crafts, science experiments, and theme days, with instructional swimming twice weekly. Early Childhood Camp for ages 3-4 provides sensory experiences, music, movement, and play-based learning. Spanish Language Immersion Camp for ages 4-5 introduces preschoolers to Spanish language and diverse cultures through interactive play and creative activities. Additional specialty options include Art Camp (ages 5-8), Swim Camp (ages 5-14), and Seven Express Trip Camp (ages 10-14).
