Lipeng Chen Summer Chamber Music & Ensemble Program

Lipeng Chen Music's Summer Chamber Music & Ensemble Program is an intensive week-long program held mid-summer that bridges solo repertoire and orchestral playing. Students participate in small group coaching by professional musicians, with daily morning sessions culminating in a finale concert at PianoForte Chicago. The program emphasizes peer connection, elevated responsibility for each player as a soloist-leader, and refined listening skills through small-group collaboration. Ensemble placement is handled on a first-come, first-served basis following video auditions, though the video requirement is waived for students with orchestral experience, previous competition wins, or teacher recommendations. Flexible pick-up windows and extended care are available upon request.
