Lifeline Theatre offers week-long summer drama camps for children ages 4-14, where young performers explore theatre through character creation, improvisation, design activities, and ensemble performances based on classic literature and time-travel themes.
Lifeline Theatre's summer camps immerse children in theatre training and creative expression. Time Explorers (ages 4-6) attend half-day sessions building characters and theatrical adventures. Time Voyagers (ages 6-9) and Time Navigators (ages 8-10) participate in full-day camps exploring different time periods through drama games, design, and adapted stories. The Theatre Intensive for ages 10-14 features workshops led by Chicago theatre professionals covering improvisation, puppetry, stage combat, and theatrical design, culminating in ensemble performances. All campers gain confidence, self-expression skills, and experience working collaboratively.
