A Montessori summer camp for children ages 2–6 exploring Chinese geography, language, culture, food and games, with arts and crafts, outdoor play, water activities, nature exploration, yoga and visits to local parks.
Led by a Montessori certified teacher, this summer camp immerses young children in Chinese culture and language. Children learn to count, greet and sing in Chinese, explore geographical features, and participate in hands-on arts and craft projects. The program includes a Chinese movie screening and a Chinese New Year celebration with a piñata and outdoor performance. Spanish is also taught alongside Montessori materials for developing independence and order. Activities emphasize mind-body coordination through yoga animal poses, outdoor play with water games, sprinkler time, and exploration of nature and science. Lunch is served at picnic tables in the backyard, and the camp includes visits to nature centers and local parks.
