A 3-week summer Extended Year Program for students entering grades 5-12, combining academic classes in reading, math, and writing with social skills development, speech and occupational therapy, art, computers, and weekly field trips in a language-based environment.
Learning Prep School's 2026 Summer Program runs Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm and is designed to maintain academic progress and prevent regression through structured, fun, and enriching experiences. Middle school students participate in functional academic classes, social skills groups, art and computer activities, organizational support, and essential speech and OT services as needed. High school students focus on academics, social and transitional/independent living skills, with students entering 12th grade participating in volunteer-based work experience two days per week. The program is open to both current LPS students and students new to the school, and serves students with specific learning disabilities, language disorders, communication disorders, non-verbal learning disabilities, ADHD, and social communication disorders.
