A summer language enrichment program for children ages 2½–5 at Foundations Developmental House in Gilbert. Speech-language therapists lead activities including structured play, music, stories, and themed motor activities designed to support speech and language development alongside typical preschool engagement.
LEAP Summer Camp offers a condensed summer version of the Language Enrichment and Acquisition Program for both typically developing children and those with speech and language impairments. Led by speech-language therapists and assisted by other specialists, the program integrates speech and language intervention into daily activities including circle time, motor activities, play centers focused on art and dramatic play, and sensory integration. Weekly themes guide the curriculum, which emphasizes child-child interactions, conversational turn-taking, and building foundations for reading and writing.
