A five-week summer ballet intensive in Watertown for serious students ages 9–19, combining classical ballet technique, variations, pointe work, partnering, and contemporary dance, culminating in a final showcase performance.
Koltun Ballet Boston's Summer Intensive runs July 27 through August 28, 2026, offering two tracks: a Youth Program (ages 9–13) and a Pre-Professional Intensive (ages 14–19). Both tracks meet Monday through Friday and include ballet technique, classical variations, stretching, and contemporary choreography. The Youth Program runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, while the Pre-Professional track extends to 4:30 p.m. and adds pointe work and pas de deux partnering. Students receive individual corrections from faculty including former principal dancers with the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, and Boston Ballet. The program culminates in a final showcase performance on August 28. Students may attend multiple weeks or the full five weeks; partial enrollment is available but students must attend the final three weeks to perform in the showcase.
