Koala's Kitchen offers hands-on cooking classes for children ages 4–16, teaching fundamental cooking techniques and food safety in a supportive environment. Classes emphasize creativity, trying new foods, and building confidence in the kitchen.
Koala's Kitchen, run by Chef Teka (Tekieel Williams), provides hands-on cooking instruction for young chefs. Classes are tailored to deliver a fun, educational experience where children learn to follow recipes accurately, master different cooking techniques, and make healthy food choices. The program emphasizes kitchen and food safety while encouraging children to try cuisines from different cultures. Chef Teka draws on her experience as a former Director of Kids Cooking Camp at Devonshire Cultural Center, where she taught over 60 children ranging from ages 4 to 16.
