CampVentures is a summer day camp for children ages 2 to 12 featuring themed learning activities, field trips, outdoor play, and hands-on exploration. The program is divided into age-appropriate tracks with activities ranging from sensory exploration for toddlers to student-choice adventures for school-age children.
Kiddie Academy of Silver Spring Township runs CampVentures, an all-day summer camp program that keeps children engaged in educational and entertaining experiences throughout the summer. For 2-year-olds, the program focuses on exploration and movement through textures, pretend play, and creative arts. The 3- and 4-year-old program centers on themes like transportation and insects with activities including simple machines, literature exploration, and culinary projects. School-age children choose their own adventure topics, from gardening to theatrical performances, with field trips and culminating projects. The camp includes meals and snacks daily, outdoor play, special visitors, and on-site enrichment opportunities for younger children.
