A summer program for neurodivergent youth running July and August that combines morning academics with afternoon electives and weekly community exploration trips to beaches, museums, hikes and Boston landmarks.
Ivy Street School's Summer Program spans July and August as part of their year-round educational model. Students engage in morning academic classes covering English, math, social studies and other subjects with their regular teachers, maintaining consistency with the school year. In the afternoons, students choose from a variety of extended elective blocks, allowing them to pursue their interests with passionate instructors. Throughout the summer, classes take weekly community exploration trips to destinations including beaches, local museums, scenic hikes, sporting events and Boston landmarks, designed collaboratively with occupational therapists to match student interests and capabilities.
