A six-week summer program in Greenwich serving K-8 boys from under-resourced communities, combining academic intervention in reading and math with swimming instruction, arts, martial arts, and field trips, alongside daily meals and transportation.
Horizons at Brunswick offers a coordinated year-round program between Brunswick School and Greenwich Public Schools. The six-week summer session provides high-quality focused curriculum in reading, writing, and STEAM with a 4:1 student-teacher ratio. Sessions include dedicated work with reading specialists and math interventionists, swimming and water skills instruction, weekly field trips, social and emotional learning, and enrichment activities like martial arts, music, chess, and creative drama. All students receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, plus full bus transportation. The program targets boys performing at or below grade level who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, with a goal of keeping students on track for Greenwich High School.
