A summer arts program blending music, movement, and visual arts for students in grades 1-9. Students take group lessons in orchestral and band instruments, participate in ensembles including orchestra and jazz band, and explore creative courses such as music technology, composition, and world drumming.
Hoff-Barthelson's Summer Arts Program offers a comprehensive summer experience combining music, movement, and visual arts. Students in grades 1-9 participate in group lessons across strings, winds, brass, guitar, piano, and percussion, guided by professional teaching artists. The program includes ensemble experiences such as orchestra, wind ensemble, jazz band, chamber music, and piano ensembles, alongside creative courses in music technology, composition, music and movement, world drumming, chimes, creative keyboard, and visual arts. Students also receive foundational instruction in music literacy, history, listening, and rhythm, with performances giving them opportunities to share their progress and build stage confidence.
