A residential musical theater camp established in 1955 for ages 7–18, combining singing, dancing and acting with traditional camp activities. Campers attend 1, 3 or 6-week sessions in summer at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with performances in a 400-seat theater.
Harand Camp was one of the nation's first co-ed residential camps to integrate musical theater training with traditional camp fun. Located on the Carthage College campus overlooking Lake Michigan, campers ages 7 to 18 receive quality non-competitive training in singing, dancing and acting. Beyond the theater program, "Haranders" participate in sports and elective activities, off-campus trips and all-camp events. Campers reside in modern dorms and all sessions culminate in full musical performances in the camp's 400-seat state-of-the-art theater.
