Project Music's summer programming includes weekly studio sessions for brass, winds, and percussion students with sectional instruction, plus day trips combining recreation and performance. Partner programs offer musical theater and string instruction through INTEMPO and leadership development through Archipelago's MILA academy.
The H.K. Miserocchi Summer Institute is Project Music's newly renamed summer programming offering multiple pathways for young musicians. The Summer Studio Session meets weekly on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00pm at UCONN's downtown Stamford campus (June 23-July 21) with focused sectional instruction by instrument and three additional summer day trips. Project Music also partners with INTEMPO for a six-week musical theater and strings program (June 22-July 31, weekdays 9am-1pm) taught by Princeton University student instructors and Project Music teaching artists, and coordinates travel for students selected to attend Archipelago's Musical Innovation and Leadership Academy in Michigan (July 11-18).
