A play-based summer camp held in June and July on a 12-acre Gwynedd campus for children entering preschool through kindergarten. Campers enjoy outdoor water play, art projects, garden activities, music, storytelling, and Quaker-centered reflection in half-day sessions.
Gwynedd Friends School runs a seven-week summer camp program during June and July for current students entering Preschool through Kindergarten. Families may register for individual weeks or the full seven-week session. Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, split into age-appropriate bunks. The program combines indoor and outdoor activities across the school's 12-acre campus, including water play, daily art projects, weekly themed activities, music, storytelling, dramatic play, and sensory experiences. Children visit the community garden to plant, harvest, and taste produce. Weekly themes encourage creative building projects, art and gym classes, field games, and reflection on Quaker values. Time for kindness, friendship-building, and Quaker testimonies are integrated throughout each morning.
