A week-long day camp in Easton, Connecticut for children ages 5 and up, combining horseback riding lessons with horse care instruction, crafts, hay rides, hiking, and a weekly horse show.
Gold Rush Farms offers week-long summer riding camps running from late June through mid-August. Each day campers learn horseback riding with one lesson per day on Mondays and Tuesdays, trail riding on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and a horse show on Fridays that parents are invited to attend. Beyond riding, children receive instruction in horse care and handling, help catch and groom the horses, learn horse safety, and participate in games, crafts, hay rides, and hiking. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
