A five-day rock band camp in Brooklyn where students form bands, learn instruments, record at a professional studio, and perform at a live venue. Open to beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians ages 8 and up.
Gowanus Music Club runs two 5-day rock camps each summer at Battalion Studios in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Students work in collaborative bands across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, learning guitar, drums, and keyboard from industry veteran instructors. Mid-week includes a recording session at Brooklyn Pearl Studios in DUMBO, and the week concludes with a live concert performance at The Bitter End, a legendary East Village venue. The camp has operated for over 20 years and welcomes musicians of all prior experience levels.
