A week-long day camp in Lake Forest where children ages 7–14 ride English horses for an hour daily and learn horsemanship through grooming, tacking, and horse care, with sessions running June through August. A special horse show camp prepares riders for competition.
Glen Grove offers multi-week summer day camps Monday through Friday, 9 AM–2 PM, accepting 12 campers per week of any riding experience level. Each day includes one hour of English riding lessons on the flat or over jumps, plus grooming, tacking, and general horsemanship activities to build a connection with horses. Sessions run from mid-June through mid-August. A special Horse Show Camp in early July prepares experienced riders for competition, including attire, rules, and show format, culminating in a PTS horse show. Campers should wear long pants and hard-sole shoes; helmets are required and available through the on-site store.
